Tru-North Design was founded in 2016 in Sunrise, Florida. Employing the latest engineering technologies and tools, Tru-North Design specializes in in-house product design and prototyping. With experience in medical and regulated manufacturing industries, we can help develop your product while maintaining design controls and compliance to industry standards as needed.

We believe one of the greatest impacts on a product (other than world class design) can be speed to market. Our in-house capabilities include 3D CAD (SolidWorks), 3D printing (FDM and SLA), laser cutting and engraving, vacuum forming, silicone casting, and urethane casting. Over 95% off all products developed at Tru-North Design are able to fulfill their entire prototype cycle in-house without ever having to outsource or wait around for slow vendors. We offer product design and prototyping, product development consulting, and small scale manufacturing at unmatched speeds.

Tru-North Design founder, Dustin Hecocks, is a design engineer with over a decade of experience in product design. He has been lead design engineer on Class I, Class II, and Class III devices, working alongside teams and businesses to complete 8 separate 510k clearances, and one Covid-19 E.U.A. (Emergency Use Authorization).
